2010 Rust Belt Regional Poetry Slam

Indie Competitors will be given preference based on how far they are from a regular reading, with the exception of 1 slot being saved for a Michigan State University Student

top 4 teams go into TEAM Finals
top 5 indie poets go into INDIE Finals

Rules will be generalized NPS rules with a few East Lansing HOME Rules built in.

Original Work (as in your own stuff, no poem pilfering)
No Props

No Jerks
No Chumps
No Crying
NO Hugs
No Poems involving babies, unless its a poem about a baby that is perfectly fine, and grew up perfectly healthy and happy and non abused
